I currently offer private lessons in Charles Village, Baltimore.

When I was young, I was always musically inclined, but composition became my true voice of personal expression.  I never would have made it without a mentor.

I can offer instruction in the following areas:

  • Composition
  • Music theory
  • Writing for different instruments
  • Improvisation
  • Using electronics
  • Songwriting

You do not need to know how to read music.  I charge $800 for ten lessons.  Part of the expense goes to hiring a performer, who will record / perform your work, and provide feedback.

WARNING: It is very, very difficult to make a living as a composer.
